The Reading Recovery room.

Each year students in Year 1 who are having difficulty learning to read and write are selected for a series of Reading Recovery lessons.

Lessons are:

• One-to-one
• Daily
• 30 minutes in duration
• With a qualified Reading Recovery teacher

Reading Recovery enables children to become active and independent readers and writers, better able to join in the daily activities of the classroom.
