Parallel Learning commences in Year 5. Children are taught separately and differently to cater for the physical and cognitive differences between boys and girls. Thinking skills are also a key component of the curriculum and a focus.

In Year 5, students participate in weekly organised sport sessions and events such as the swimming carnival, cross-country and athletics. All Year 5 students are invited and encouraged to participate in the school choir.
